1. About Shimmer Accessories
Shimmer Accessories (“Shimmer”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is a small, independently owned creative business based in the United Kingdom. We design and make handcrafted jewellery, accessories, and bespoke custom items for sale online and at craft fairs and markets.

2. Handmade Nature of Products
All items are handmade and may vary slightly in colour, finish, and detail from the photographs shown on the website or at events. These variations are not considered faults but a natural result of the creative process, making each item unique.

3. Custom Orders & Deposits
Custom orders are accepted on a case-by-case basis.
A non-refundable deposit (usually 50%) is required before work begins. The deposit amount will be confirmed at the time of ordering.
Once a custom item has been started, changes cannot be guaranteed, and refunds cannot be issued for bespoke work.

4. Prices & Payment
All prices are listed in British Pounds (£) and are subject to change without notice.
Accepted payment methods include PayPal, debit card, and credit card. Payment must be received in full before your order is dispatched.

5. Shipping & Delivery
Orders are shipped within the UK via Royal Mail or an equivalent postal service.
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout or provided upon request.
For international customers, please contact us before placing an order to confirm postage charges and delivery options.
We are not responsible for customs charges, taxes, or delays due to international shipping procedures.

6. Returns & Exchanges
We hope you’ll love your purchase. However, if you’re not fully satisfied, you may return undamaged items within 14 days of receipt, in their original packaging and condition, for a refund or exchange.
Customers are responsible for return postage costs unless the item is faulty.
Custom or personalised orders cannot be returned or refunded unless faulty.

7. Faulty or Damaged Items
If your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us at [insert your email address here] within 7 days of receipt.
We may request photos of the damage and will offer a replacement, repair, or refund as appropriate.

8. Events & Craft Fairs
Products purchased directly at fairs or markets fall under the same handmade and returns policies outlined above. Deposits or partial payments made at events are also non-refundable once a custom order has been started.
